Gone Aground

Ginger Legato: Abiquiu, New Mexico; I am an artist and poet, living in the high desert of northern New Mexico. I fetch water, warm my bones by a woodstove, write and paint by the power of the sun. In my work, I partner with the senses and imagination, wander into a place of full attention—a place of investigation, and record my findings. A poem or a painting is the remarkable object I might be fortunate enough to bring back from these regions of inquiry.
